A trip to Tsiver The trip starts from the plateau «Fouskes». You will reach «Fouskes» from Kyriaki following an asphalt street for 6 km that leads to Arvanitsa and then going right on a dirt-road that leads to the coast of Zaltsas, you are going to «Fouskes». For those who do not know the path, it is recommended to take advice from the local people. From the plateau, you will pass the path through the fir forest and within one hour you will reach firstly the top of the ridge, the first of the tops. The view from here is impressive as you can see the complex of Zaltsa, as well as Kiato and Xilokastro. More away, you can see the tops of Zireia and Chelmos and in the west the mountain chain of Panachaikos. Aferwards, the course gets difficult and passing stone by stone through the ridge, you will need about 1,5 hours to reach the highest top (1561 m). You might get tired but, from this point, the view on all the Corinthian Gulf will satisfy you. You will distinct the picturesque islets: Ambelos and Daskalio, as well as you will clearly distinct the Gulf of Antikyra and Tsarouchi (a small islet) on the west. The beaches of Karachalios and Karioti are extending at your feet and the large beach of Zaltsa appears in the East. The way down is easier from the west and will lead you in less than half an hour to «Fouskes». This path is not signed yet, and for that reason it will be necessary to consult the Alpine Association of Kyriaki.

A small trip to Perdikonero The course starts from the location «Tyflovrysi», that is a little bit outside Kyriaki, it continues smoothly on the old path for roughly 100m., but it becomes, later on, rising and difficult. The ascension lasts roughly half an hour, with slow but constant rhythm, crossing, from half the way and afterwards, a fir- forest. Being directed to the north-west, the path leads to the top «Bermbikia» (860m). From the top, following downhill the way of roughly half an hour, it leads to a big flume. Crossing the stream (that does not have water in spring) and ascending a little, you will reach Perdikonero, the famous spring, where the partridges extinguish their thirst and where the Muses are believed to set up their dances, singing for Apollo. The view that you will have from here is magnificent. The total duration of the course, including the return to the village, is 2,5 hours. This path has been sparsely signed with red marks by the Alpine Association of Kyriaki.

The path continues on the right side of the flume and if you follow it, you will reach, after 1,5 hour, the picturesque stone bridge of Kleisoura. The bridge is said to have been built under the supervision of the monk Leontios, who was from Kyriaki. The path leads to the old Monastery dependency of Hosios Loukas, where, today, the industry «Aluminium of Greece» dominates, some tens of metres away from the sea.
The trip lasts roughly 5 hours. The path connects mountain to the sea and it is better to follow it in spring when nature is blooming. The path is approachable by everyone, as it is shorn and clear at its wilder points, without any particular difficulty, due to the fact that the only thing you need is to follow the signs with the number 22 and the red-white marks that have been placed by the Greek Alpine Federation.
